The well pump was off-line yesterday and unable to pump water into the tank. In order to fill the tank quickly and maintain appropriate water tank levels, the District purchased water from Tahoe City PUD. They chlorinate their water and therefore we wanted to alert our residents that the water we are temporarily providing is chlorinated. We have personnel working hard to get the pump back on-line as soon as possible. We will send another test alert when we are back on-line. Until then, please refrain from watering your lawns or using excessive amounts of water. Thank you for your patience.
